Growth Groups @ The Grove are small group gatherings designed to promote spiritual growth outside the walls of the church. The groups have many benefits that contribute to the spiritual growth of individuals and the church. Small groups can serve as one of the main arteries for the dissemination of biblical truth, the development of biblical understanding, and Christian fellowship. To that end, Peasant Grove is continuing what the Lord began during the summer of 2009.

Growth groups of six to eight members will continue to gather in structured meetings through the course of the ministry year. Meetings will continue to take place in homes, restaurants, parks, and places conducive to fellowship and study.

Each group is led by a Growth Group facilitator. Facilitators are responsible for scheduling, organizing, and coordinating group meetings with the assistance of group members. Facilitators have been trained in using Growth Group materials and resources, policies and procedures, and techniques in maintaining healthy group dynamics. During the Fall of 2009, each group will be studying biblical stewardship principles consistent with the “Advance Campaign” practices.    Each session will include food, fun, fellowship, and study, a great formula for growth.
